"This Isn't Fair To Us": Jewellery Brand Accuses Avneet Kaur Of Fraud

Jewelry brand Rang has accused actor and social media personality Avneet Kaur of fraud. Alleging a breach of contract, the company has made screenshots of their conversations with the actress available.
Rang claims that although Avneet Kaur used their jewelry on her most recent European tour, she broke the conditions of their agreement by failing to tag the brand in any of her social media posts. The company says that even though Ms. Kaur worn their items seven times, her followers were led to assume that these high-end labels were the "sole source of all her accessories" since she exclusively tagged "high-end brands such as Dior and Vivienne Westwood" in her pictures.

Rang called the experience "our worst to date" in a lengthy statement, accusing the actress of taking advantage of the partnership for her own gain. The company released screenshots of their team's and Ms. Kaur's stylist's interactions, in which the actress seems to be rejecting several requests to carry out her half of the bargain.

The company stated that Ms. Kaur promised to pay for the goods in exchange when she was questioned.

"It wasn't about the money," the brand insisted, emphasizing that the purpose of their collaboration was to highlight the brand's worth and reach via Ms. Kaur's enormous following on social media, which counts over 30 million users.

The actress then stated that she will provide credit in a later article, but she never did. The brand claimed that although she later volunteered to publish a story credit, it likewise never materialized. Thinking this was a "fair resolution," Rang later issued her an invoice for the nine items of jewelry "she kept for over a month." Ms. Kaur allegedly replied, though, saying, "It was a collaboration, right? I initially took it for that reason. It was worn no more than ten times by me. I refuse to pay for it.

The brand said, "We feel that we shouldn't sit here and accept this." "It is unfair to us and any other brand or stylist who supplies celebrities with jewelry, clothing, and other items, only to be met with such an attitude."
