The reason Tejashwi was unable to pull a fast one on the BJP, unlike Akhilesh

In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led NDA retained its dominance in Bihar, gaining 30 seats out of 40, compared to the INDIA bloc's 9 seats. However, in Uttar Pradesh, the most important heartland state, the Opposition alliance defeated it.

The BJP secured 33 seats out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, with the help of its allies RLD and Apna Dal (Soneylal), who secured two and one seats respectively. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party (SP) led by Akhilesh Yadav secured 37 seats, with its INDIA partner Congress securing six seats.
