The amount of hidden sugars consumed is increasing; here are some things to be aware of.
While most of us are aware of the well-known negative effects of consuming too much sugar, like weight gain and an elevated risk of diabetes, there are a few less well-known indicators that you may be overindulging in sugar.
"Aside from the more obvious signs such as weight gain and frequent energy crashes, there are some more unusual signs and symptoms that you may not have come across before (sic)," says Dr. Rupy Aujla in a clip from his podcast that he posted on Instagram.
