Veteran cinematographer Santosh Sivan revealed that he didn't get along with MF Husain when filming Meenaxi, recalling the one and only instance in which he'd had a falling out with one of his directors.
Renowned cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan, who was honored at the Cannes Film Festival recently, talked on resolving artistic disagreements on site and cited the one and only instance in his career of having a "confrontation" with a director. He claimed that it took place while he was working with the renowned painter MF Husain, who had a brief career as a filmmaker. Sivan was brought in to film Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities, which starred Raghubir Yadav, Kunal Kapoor, and Tabu.
