A woman in Bengaluru was fatally stabbed in a PG apartment: The guy who is suspected of savagely killing a Bihari woman in a paid guest room at Koramangala in Bengaluru on July 23 was taken into custody on Saturday in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and is being transported to the capital of Karnataka for additional investigation, according to the Bengaluru Police.

Abhishek fled after killing Kriti Kumari in a horrific manner, and he was apprehended in Bhopal. "He has been taken into custody," a top police officer confirmed to news agency PTI.

Commissioner Dayanand stated to NDTV that the inquiry is moving more quickly. To apprehend the culprits, the Bengaluru Police had established three specialized teams.

PTI was informed by police sources that the victim was lodging with a different woman. Kriti Kumari's roommate had moved out of the paid guest accommodations a few days prior. It's believed that she went to stay with her partner.

The woman went back to the PG on July 23 to remain with Kriti Kumari. According to the reports, the attacker was skeptical that Kriti Kumari could have played a significant role in her roommate's decision to change.

According to the police-shared video, the man entered the paying guest's hallway while carrying a plastic bag. And with that, he banged on the door and pulled the woman out. The murderer cut the victim's throat and fled after the victim resisted the attack for a short while.

Other women who were paying guests ran to help her when they heard the loud boom, but they were unable to save her.

The 24-year-old Kriti Kumari was from Bihar. She was employed in the city for a private corporation. According to a police officer, the event may have occurred on July 23 at approximately 11 p.m.

In the meantime, the police said they were going over the CCTV footage, looking around the location, and figuring out who she last spoke to and what happened before the murder.

It was barely two days before to the tragedy that Kriti moved into the PG. When Kriti stated the man was her brother and that he would shortly leave, PG security allowed the man, who was spotted carrying bags, admission, according to the police.
