The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 today, May 17. Candidates registered for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam can download their hall tickets from the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, once they are available. Reports say the admit cards will be released around 10 am.

According to the official schedule, the JEE Advanced exam will be held on May 26 in two shifts. Paper 1 is from 9 am to noon, and Paper 2 will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The provisional answer key will be released on June 2, 2024, and the final answer key and results will be announced on June 9, 2024.

The JEE Advanced is a computer-based test (CBT) with two three-hour papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers will cover physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

  3. Enter your login details in the new window and click submit.
  4. Your JEE Advanced 2024 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Review and download your hall ticket.

PAPER PATTERN

The papers will include a mix of Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and matching-type questions. In the MCQ section, three marks are given for each correct answer, and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

For NAT questions, three marks are given for each correct answer, with no negative marking for wrong answers. In the matching-type questions, one mark is given for each correct match, with no penalty for incorrect responses.
