I.N.D.I.A. bloc objects in parliament to the union budget
Calls the Union Budget "discriminatory" toward States run by the Opposition; Congress Chief Ministers will not attend the July 27 NITI Aayog meeting
New Delhi: On Wednesday, I.N.D.I.A. bloc Members of Parliament, comprising Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi, and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, held a protest in the Parliament premises regarding the purported bias in the Union Budget against States ruled by the Opposition.
The demonstration on the stairs leading up to the Parliament's Makar Dwar was also attended by a number of MPs from the Left, TMC, Samajwadi Party, DMK, and the Congress.
