Hyderabad: According to the most recent Socio Economic Outlook for 2024–2025, Telangana has demonstrated noteworthy success in labor market indices, indicating a robust economy and active workforce.

The Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) for Telangana was 66.5%, which was higher than the 61.6 percent national average and suggested that the State's economy was doing well.

A robust economy and a consistent increase in employment possibilities are shown by the LFPR, the Worker Population Ratio (WPR), and the Unemployment Rate (UR). Telangana has performed exceptionally well across the board, according to the Socio Economic Outlook.

The LFPR calculates the proportion of the working-age population (15–59 years old) that is either employed or looking for work, according to the Periodic Labour Force Survey. Telangana's LFPR in 2022–2023 was 66.5%, which was higher than the 61.6 percent national average.
