Munich: Michael Olise, a forward from Crystal Palace of the English Premier League, has joined FC Bayern Munich on a five-year contract that runs through 2029.
Olise, who primarily plays on the right side, finished in the top half of the Premier League last season with 10 goals and 6 assists in 19 games as Palace achieved its first top-half result in nine years.
"The discussions with FC Bayern were excellent, and I'm thrilled to be playing for such a prestigious team right now. It's a fantastic challenge, and precisely what I was searching for. Michael Olise addressed the FCB media team, "I want to prove myself at this level and do my share to make sure we win as many trophies as we can with our squad in the upcoming years.
Olise, a London native, joined Reading in March 2019 after going through the youth systems at Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City. He joined Crystal Palace for the 2021–2022 season, making 90 appearances in competitive play, tallying 16 goals and dishing out 25 assists.
He holds citizenship in France via his mother.
