JEE Advanced 2024 Answer Sheets Released Today
The JEE Advanced 2024 response sheet will be available today for all candidates who took the entrance exam. IIT Madras will host the download link for the JEE Advanced response sheet 2024 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
JEE Main rank holders took the JEE Advanced 2024 on May 26. The exam determined eligibility for admission to IITs. According to the schedule, the JEE Advanced answer key 2024 will be released on June 2. Candidates can estimate their scores by comparing the provisional answer key with their response sheet.
The JEE Advanced 2024 question paper included multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), and numerical questions. Both paper 1 and paper 2 contained three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
JEE Advanced 2024 Marking Scheme
Candidates can review the section-wise marking scheme for JEE Advanced paper 1.
Section 1
Type of Questions: Eight numerical-based decimal questions with answers correct to 2 decimal digits.
Marking Scheme:
- Full marks: +3 for the correct answer
- Zero marks: 0 for all other cases
Maximum Marks: 24
Section 2
Type of Questions: Six questions with four options, where one or more options were correct.
Marking Scheme:
- Full marks: +4 if all correct options are chosen
- Partial marks: +3 if all four options are correct, but only three correct options are chosen,
- Partial marks: +2 if three or more options are correct but only two correct options are chosen
- Partial marks: +1 if two or more options are correct but only one correct option is chosen
- Zero marks: 0 if none of the options are chosen
- Negative marks: -2 in all other cases
Maximum Marks: 24
Section 3
Type of Questions: Four questions of Match List type, i.e., Match List-I to List-II. List-I had 4 questions to be matched to List-II, which had 5 options. One or more options were correct.
Marking Scheme:
- Full marks: +3 if all options are correct
- Zero marks: 0 if none of the options are chosen
- Negative marks: -1 in all other cases
