Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro Revealed in China, Set to Launch in India

Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro, powered by Snapdragon chipsets, were introduced in China on Monday. Both devices share identical designs and boast OLED full-HD+ displays, 5,200mAh batteries with 100W fast charging, and 50-megapixel triple rear cameras. Shortly after their debut in China, HTech's CEO Madhav Sheth hinted at the imminent launch of the Honor 200 series in India, confirming their 5G capabilities.

Madhav Sheth, on Monday (May 27), confirmed the impending launch of the Honor 200 5G series in India via a post on X. The devices are set to feature AI-powered cameras. While the exact launch date remains undisclosed, it is anticipated that both phones will be unveiled in June.

Honor 200 Series Pricing

The announcement of the Honor 200 series launch in India closely follows its debut in China. The standard Honor 200 starts at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 30,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the Pro version is priced at CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 40,000) for the same configuration. It's expected that the pricing of these phones in India will be similar to these rates.

Honor 200 Series Specifications

The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro operate on MagicOS 8.0, which is based on Android 14, and feature full-HD+ displays with resolutions of 1,224 x 2,700 pixels. The Pro variant boasts a 6.78-inch screen and is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. On the other hand, the standard model, equipped with a 6.7-inch display, runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Both devices sport triple rear camera setups, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera. Additionally, they are equipped with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

Battery and Other Features

Both the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are equipped with 5,200mAh batteries that support 100W wired fast charging and feature in-display fingerprint sensors. Additionally, the Pro variant provides 66W wireless fast charging and includes a C1+ RF enhancement chip.
