The CID has uncovered CCTV footage showing Anar entering the flat accompanied by a man and a woman. Although the couple was observed exiting and re-entering the flat the following day, the MP never emerged again.

"In the CCTV footage, the politician was observed entering the flat with the two individuals. The couple was later seen leaving and returning to the flat the next day, but the MP was not sighted," the officer informed the agency.

Subsequently, the couple emerged from the flat carrying a large suitcase.

In an attempt to mislead the MP's family and friends, the killers sent messages to his contacts, claiming he was traveling to Delhi and should not be contacted.

Meanwhile, the CID arrested a Mumbai-based butcher responsible for skinning and dismembering the MP's body.
