Afghanistan scored a total of 148/6 in 20 overs while batting first. Afterwards, the bowlers took matters into their own hands and dismissed Australia for 127, even though Glenn Maxwell scored an incredible 59 runs. In cricket matches, this was Afghanistan's first-ever victory over Australia.
