"The department is aware of the concerns raised by the industry and we are pushing for limited entry of Chinese technicians to resolve the issue," a senior official in the ministry of commerce and industry told The Indian Express.
After the local sector expressed concerns that export orders were not being fulfilled because of delays in granting visas, at least two Union ministries—Electronics and Information Technology and Commerce and sector—are pressing for softer visa requirements for the entry of Chinese technicians.
