Keshav Maharaj of South Africa limits the West Indies on a wet third day of the test.

Maharaj felt he had the opportunity to go after the West Indies' top order after witnessing fellow left-arm orthodox spinner Jomel Warrican (4-69) spearhead the home team's assault in ultimately dismissing the visitors on the third morning. And during three rain delays, his changes in flight and pace claimed the wickets of left-hander Alick Athanaze, rookie Keacy Carty, and Mikyle Louis. Brathwaite left on the cheap

Kraigg Brathwaite, the opening batsman and captain of the West Indies, was the only wicket to fall to him, as he ran himself out for 35 runs.

The West Indies captain did a good job of hiding his frustration as he walked off after learning that he had been removed off a no-ball and also had given away his wicket just before rain caused yet another stoppage in play.
