Malayalam actor Anna Ben, who portrays Kyra in Nag Ashwin's dystopian epic Kalki 2898 AD, is one of the actors making brief appearances in the film. Even though Kyra's death is hinted at throughout the movie, there are a number of fan theories that contend differently. Anna recently responded to rumors that she might appear in Kalki's follow-up.
"I've also been wondering the same thing," Anna said to News 18 when asked if she will appear in the follow-up. I made friends with the ADs during the shoot. They were cheering for my character and hoping that she would return eventually. I asked Nagi sir about it, but being a man of few words, he said nothing. He merely grinned.
