Shimla: Following a flash flood caused by a cloudburst in Tosh Nallah in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, authorities reported on Tuesday that three temporary shelters, including a liquor store, and a footbridge had been washed away.

Early in the morning, a team has been dispatched to the scene to assess the situation, according to Deputy Commissioner Kullu Torul S Raveesh. The event occurred in the Tosh region of Manikaran, and no fatalities have been reported.

She urged the populace to avoid rivers and rivulets and to avoid erecting temporary constructions close to nallahs. According to the deputy commissioner, building is not allowed to take place during the monsoon and anyone found to be breaking the rules will face harsh consequences.

On Wednesday and Thursday, seven districts of the State are expected to experience heavy to very heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning, according to the local meteorological office's "orange" advisory. Additionally, a "yellow" notice has been issued by the Met for heavy rain in certain areas on August 2 and 3.
